FINALLY! An auto service center I can trust (and believe me, I've been looking a LONG time). When my 2005 Santa Fe had trouble starting I brought it to the dealer. Six hours later they couldn't figure out the problem. SOLUTION - bought a new starter on Amazon, took the car to Boca's Best and in 45 minutes they installed it for just over $100 - including a AAA discount.
2011 Jaguar XJ. Recommended from AAA tow truck(that they own)I was skeptical but I know taking it to the "Dealer" would be A lot more expensive but at least the dealer knows their cars and you don't have to trusting an "unknown shop". Especially with performance foreign car.
I drove it over the weekend car drives great, responds better than when I got it. Other things started working better.
Looking for the absolute best auto repair around, LOOK NO FURTHER. My car was towed to this shop from AAA and someone must have been looking out for me. From the first time I spoke with Brittany "the director of hospitality" I knew that this was a different kind of auto repair shop. I was treated with fairness and respect. The owner of the shop Joe, is warm, friendly, honest and a great diagnostician and mechanic. I am embarrassed to say that my daughter's car had no oil in it (thankfully we caught it in time) and that is what caused it to need to be towed. Joe took the time to teach my daughter how to check her oil and make sure that the car was ready for the trip to and from Tallahassee (Go Noles). When the car continued to burn through oil, he fought with the warranty company to get authorization to fix it correctly and safely. When he couldn't get the parts in a timely manner he helped my under 25 year old daughter get a rental. When my daughter called him from the road because her car was making strange noises he took the time to speak with her and confirm that it was safe to drive it home. When asked if it was time to sell the car he gave me an honest answer that did NOT benefit him monetarily. I have without a doubt found my mechanic for life.
I recently took in my 2007 H3 Hummer for some minor repairs and and oil change. This is the second time I have gone to Boca's Best and I experienced the same high level of customer service as I did the first time. Communication was clear throughout the entire process with pricing that was fair. I have referred Boca's Best to other friends and co-workers and will continue to use this location as my choice for service down the road. Not often to you get consistency with different levels of employees, here at Boca's Best I received it from the young lady working the front desk and Joe calling me a couple of times to check in and let me know the status of the repairs. Keep up the great work.
4 1/2 out of 5 because of some picky details from me. Even then the owner was more than willing to work with me.
This week something broke loose in the engine compartment and I lost the power steering. Brought it back to Boca's Best; they IMMEDIATELY brought the car into the service bay and diagnosed the problem to be a broken power steering pump. Repairs to the pump and attached items were estimated at just over $600 (not bad; I thought it was going to be something more catastrophic). BUT - they were able to salvage the original supply lines, bringing the total to $461. I have never had a repair shop that brought in the job under the original estimate (especially $150 under the original estimate). The car is running better than ever, I am extremely pleased with the service and staff at Boca's Best Auto Repair and will use them as my go-to service center from now on.
I was pleasantly surprised how neat and clean the shop was. It took a couple of days to finish my car but the BBAR kept me in the loop of the whole process. Finding me the best part at a good price. Not adding extra uneccesarry parts. Detail explanation of what's wrong and plan of attack.
This place scammed my elderly mother. My mother contacted AAA to tow a car to a shop for repair. When the tow company arrived (interstate towing) they driver pressured her to take it to a different auto shop, Boca's Best Auto. Later I figured out that both companies, interstate towing and Boca's best auto are owned by the same guy. She asked them to diagnose the car and tell her what it'll take to get it running. They diagnosed it and she paid almost $2,000. Now here we are two months later and the car still doesn't work. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, brought it back almost 10 times to try to fix it but they can't so now they say "too bad" and my mother is out all that money. They refused to refund her even though the car still doesn't work. What a shame that they can take advantage of a senior citizen like that. If they weren't confident they could fix the car, they shouldn't have taken her money. If you want to get taken advantage of then this is the place to go.
