Passport Health was a great place to get vaccines for time out of the country. All of my questions were answered by a friendly and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner. All the staff I spoke with were professional and very helpful. Excellent service all around.

Great place, efficient, and always willing to help!

I wasn't going to bother with this review, but I changed my mind. We went there today for a vaccination for my son's trip (drove up from Ft. Lauderdale on a rainy day, actually a record rainfall event for South Florida this week). We had a 3:45 appointment and arrived exactly at 3:51 (6 minutes late). This delay was due to a missed exit. The exit off I-95 there is a little unusual and if you're not familiar with it, you end up in the wrong lane that takes you BACK onto 195, hence the 6-minute delay. Our bad. Real bad mistake. We walked into a nice, small lobby. We (the patrons) greeted the receptionist with a kind hello and were met with a who-are-you-and-what-time-is-your-appointment hello by the woman at the front desk. She then proceeded to tell us we were 15 minutes late and that we would have to reschedule our appointment. It was 3:51 so her math was off, but it made no difference; 3:45 was the appointment, she reminded us, not 3:51. I told her that we got lost, which technically wasn't true, but I guess I was nervous. I meant to say we got off the wrong exit, but I kinda figured saying that we got lost would suffice. The woman said (I'm paraphrasing), Next time you should call if you get lost or why didn't you call if you were lost...something like that. I apologized and basically had to beg for them to take us and give my son his typhoid shot. She said it was up to the nurse. She then said (verbatim), "Have a seat." Now, this was no please-have-a-seat-and-let-me-see-if-she-can-take-you-since-you-were-6-minutes-late-not-15-minutes-late kind of please have a seat. This was a sit-your-ass-down kind of please have a seat, if you get my drift. I took my seat like a petrified child in elementary school and waited the decision of The Nurse. We were spared the wasted trip. She would break down and see us. The nurse was nice but by then in a scary movie kind of way after the whole scolding we received two minutes prior just outside her office with doors open about our tardiness. Now, I asked my son, "Son, did they tell you to arrive a little early because they were sticklers on time?" His response was no. The email confirmation didn't mention it either. Like maybe in bold print, WARNING: BE ON TIME OR WE WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON IN TIMELINESS. THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD IN ARRIVING A FEW MINUTES LATE AND IF YOU GET OFF THE EXIT AND ARE 6 MINUTES LATE, TOO BAD, SO SAD, YOU ARE HEADING TO CHINA WITHOUT YOUR SHOTS. Nothing mentioned. Now, I respect timeliness very much. I am rarely late and I consider it rude to be late, but this was an odd way to treat paying customers for arriving 6 minutes late. And if that is their policy, cool, great, good for you, kudos, but do tell your customers while they're scheduling an appointment with your office to plan to hit the road back home if they don't arrive on time for their appointment or warn them of your late cut-off time policy. Is 1 minute late okay or is 6 minutes late the clincher? How about 30 seconds late? Please give your customers the heads-up on this pet peeve of yours so they don't drive off wondering what the hell just happened in there?

Nurses are very knowledgeable about vaccines and prevention from severe illness. They do care!
